Reception Admissions
Each year, 30 children are admitted into our Reception Class. Places are allocated according to our admissions criteria (see below).
The admissions process for the September 2024 Reception intake will commence from 1st October 2023.
Reception tours are taking place on Tuesday 21st November, Friday 1st December and Thursday 11th January 2024 at 9.45am. If you would like to book a place on any of these dates, please contact the school office on 020 8804 1666.
If you have a child in Years 1 to 6 and would like them to attend St Matthew's, please complete our supplementary form which can be found below, and return to the school office. Your child will then be added to our waiting list.
You also need to notify the Enfield Admissions team that you would like your child to be added to the St Matthew's waiting list.

St Matthew's is a voluntary aided school so, therefore, you are required to apply both directly to the school using our Supplementary Admissions Form (which can be found below) and also to the London Borough Of Enfield.

Secondary Transfer
During the early part of the Autumn term evey child in Year 6 is given information about all the secondary schools in the Borough Of Enfield, along with open evening details. Please see below details of Open Evenings taking place in September and October for 2024 intake. Further details can be found by visiting www.enfield.gov.uk/admissions.
All applications must be submitted online, to the London Borough Of Enfield, by the 31st October 2023.
