Please note that the only embroidered items required are:
- St Matthew's school jumper or cardigan
- St Matthew's school red PE T-shirt
We ask that all items of uniform are clearly labelled with your child's name. This makes is easier for us to return any lost uniform to the child. I've ordered the embroidered uniform, but what else does my child need?
Children must wear dark grey trousers, skirts, shorts or a pinafore with a white polo shirt, black, grey or white socks and suitable black shoes (no trainers or sandals). These are all available to purchase from high street shops.
Does the school have a summer uniform?
Yes. Children can choose to wear grey shorts with their polo shirt during the summer term or a red gingham dress with white socks. These are available from supermarkets and high street shops.
What should my child wear for PE?
For PE, children should wear an embroidered logo red t-shirt (available to purchase from Smiths Schoolwear), plain black shorts (summer months), plain black tracksuit bottoms (for winter months) a plain black sweatshirt / hoodie and non-branded black trainers. No logos or branding at all please.
Are there any other items I need for my child?
The school office stocks school book bags embroidered with the school logo. These can only purchased from the school. The book bags are required for all children from Reception to Year 3 (and beyond if the children wish) to securely bring their reading books and records to and from school each day.
